We are happy to announce that Edge will collaborate on the housing project Manufaktura 21, Bernolákovo in Slovakia alongside with Ash Sakula Architects, Createrra, Imagine Development and Global Group! Manufaktura 21 is going to be new mixed live & work area near Bratislava in the area of the former manor house from the time of Maria Theresa.
The site is a former engineering factory from the 20th century where new architecture forms are combined in respect to existing old structures. A central focus of the project is to provide people with possibilities to use shared spaces for co-work, bikerepair shop, creative workshops in green, quite and safe environments. Edge will contribute to the project with competence in integration of water, vegetation and hard surfaces to provide with smart stormwater management and in delivering ecosystem services in the project.
